The Pahrump Valley Junior Golf Association's 2006-2007 tournament season started Saturday, with 29 players 7 to 18 years old competing on the Lakeview Executive's 3,600-yard, par 59 course.

NOTES -- The fall, winter, and spring tournament schedule for the Pahrump Valley Junior Golf Association includes events Oct. 7, Nov. 4, Dec. 2, Jan. 6, Feb. 3, March 3, April 21 and May 5 ... The 2007 Junior Golf Clinic, required of all new and old players, is June 11-12-13 ... The summer series begins June 18, with subsequent tournaments June 25, July 2, July 9, July 16 and July 23 ... The 2007 Gene Goins Memorial is July 30-31.
