Nye County Sheriff's deputies investigating a robbery of The Cash Advance Store in the Pahrump Valley Junction Plaza near Albertson's grocery arrested two suspects, one of whom had made the call to report the robbery.

Deputies were dispatched to the store last Friday in response to a reported robbery in which $2,560.33 had been taken. Also reported was that the perpetrator had a firearm and had just left the business.

The employee making the report, Christopher Aker, 19, a Pahrump resident, gave the Sheriff's Office a description of the robber and of the vehicle he drove.

Aker was arrested when the investigation revealed that it was his friend, Justin Muraca, 21, who allegedly committed the robbery. The idea was Aker's, according to a press release from the Sheriff's Office.

The money was recovered at Muraca's residence. Muraca was arrested and booked on charges of conspiracy, burglary and grand larceny. He is being held on $20,000 bail.

Aker is being held on $25,632 for conspiracy, burglary, grand larceny, embezzlement and making a false report of a crime.
