Snowden, Pike among speedway winners

Dan Snowden outraced four rivals on the final lap to win the super stock feature Saturday at the Pahrump Valley Speedway.

In the 20-lap event on the quarter-mile dirt oval, Snowden finished ahead of Rick VanBuytene, Bryan Wulfenstein, Milo Petaros and John Pietrorazio. Cliff Corn and Stacy Stinson also started.

In the Pro-4 15-lap main, Court Connell was the winner, with Cory Little second. Terri Crawford was third, followed by Erick Sheinberg. Jerry Duncan did not start.

Anthony Finley won the Bombers feature, a 20-lap race that saw Wade Pearsons finish second. J.J. Nunn, Fred Harding, Chris Gray and Rickie Reese completed the grid.

In the 18-car mini-stock feature, Bill Delahunte completed the 20 laps first. Also on the lead lap were Bubba Ray, John Burch Jr., Rick Gast, Frankie England and Rick VanBuytene.

Racing 19 laps were Tom Buckwalter, Chad Broadhead, Carl England, Alex Buckwalter, Tony Martin and Richard Weseman. Also starting were J.J. Meyers, Joe Rogers Jr., Eric Slusher, Jamie Hall and Andrew Oskilanec.

In a 20-lap IMCA modified race, Jason Pike won, with Fred White second and Leland Hibdon third.
