An unidentified, decomposed body several months old was found near Betty Street and Blagg Road Tuesday.

Workmen in the area discovered the corpse but paid no particular note of it, casually mentioning it to Wulfenstein Construction employees when they returned to the office, according to a report.

The Wulfenstein employees called the Nye County Sheriff's Office, and the workers showed deputies where they found the body and filled out reports.

The Sheriff's Office is investigating, but so far has no information as to the decedent's identity.
