Family/Background

Born in Waterloo, Iowa, attended school in Davenport, Iowa, two sisters. Married for 25 years with six grown children, four are college graduates, five grandchildren.

Education

Five years of college at Iowa State University and University of Minnesota, no degree

Political Experience/Community Service

"I have never held political office. As a 30-year government employee, due to the Hatch Act, I was not allowed to participate in political activities."

Affiliations

Member of the Nye County Democratic Central Committee and involved with local democratic activities for more than 11 years. Former member of Elks Club.

Accomplishments

Deputy project manager in Kuwait for a $200 million project to provide computerized logistics system for the Kuwait Air Force and Air Defense and Ministry of Defense Communication System.

Reason for running

"I want to attempt to make the Pahrump Town Board a more proactive board and help move the town of Pahrump forward without loss of identity."
