Faith Lutheran defeated Pahrump Valley 31-17, in a Southern Nevada Class 3-A League football game Friday, in Las Vegas.

FL -- Alan Jones 78 run (Chris Schulte kick), 7-0, 11:09. KEY PLAY -- A penalty against the Crusaders and a two-yard run by Parker Hurst preceded Jones' TD run on the first possession of the game.

FL -- Jones 10 run (Schulte kick), 14-0, 5:32. KEY PLAY -- The Crusaders drove 57 yards on seven plays, following a punt.

FL -- FG, Schulte, 25. 17-0, 2:52. KEY PLAY -- Jack Kneubuhl's interception return from the 40 to the 8 set up the field goal.

Second Quarter

Lightning stopped play for 45 minutes with 8:30 left in the first half.

PV -- Jordan Booth 50 pass from Travis Ott (kick failed), 17-6, 6:40. KEY PLAY -- The Trojans' Steve Kelley blocked a field goal attempt. On the first play, Ott threw to Booth down the left sidelines for the TD.

FL -- Dionte Wright 45 pass from Zack Done (Schulte kick), 24-6, 5:29. KEY PLAY -- The Crusaders drove 74 yards in three plays, including an 18-yard run by Jones and an 11-yard run by Steven McCall.

Third Quarter

FL -- McCall 66 interception return (Schulte kick), 31-6, 6:26. KEY PLAY -- The Trojans went from their own 45 to the FL 34 in two plays. McCall picked off a pass over the middle and broke out of a pack of would-be tacklers to go the distance.

Fourth Quarter

PV -- Rocky Spencer 66 run (Ott run), 31-14, 8:04. KEY PLAY -- The Trojans drove 80 yards in four plays, with Spencer gaining all of the yards on three rushes.

PV -- FG, Daffer, 27. 31-17, 3:04. KEY PLAY -- Following a short Crusader punt, the Trojans got possession at the Faith 29. The Trojans netted 18 yards on six plays before the field goal attempt.
