HORACE LANGFORD JR. / PVT The body of an adult male was removed from Calvada Boulevard, near the west end of the Calvada Eye, at approximately noon Monday, Oct. 9. The Nye County Sheriff's Office received a telephone call while the man was alive, but when authorities arrived on the scene he was found lying face down not far from the roadway, dead. An autopsy will be conducted to determine cause of death due to the man's age and the circumstances of his passing, but Capt. Bill Becht said there was no reason to believe that any foul play was involved. The man's identity was withheld pending notifications of next of kin.
