SHERIFF'S REPORT
The following information was provided by the Nye County Sheriff's Office. All crimes are alleged and all defendants are presumed innocent: At Pahrump: Todd Johnson, 44, was booked Oct. 4 charged with sex offender failure to register. Bail was set at $5,000. James Griffith, 28, was booked Oct. 4 charged on warrant for failure to appear. Bail was set at $20,000. Michael Coberly, 22, was booked Oct. 5 charged on warrant for possession of child pornography. Bail was set at $5,000. Matthew Green, 26, was booked Oct. 5 charged on three warrants for failure to appear. Bail set at $5,000. Michael Simer, 38, was booked Oct. 6 charged on Pahrump Justice Court warrant for battery and on three Tonopah Justice Court warrants for non-support. Bail was set at $1,000 for the Pahrump warrant and at $79,300 for the Tonopah warrant. Edgar Hernandez, 20, was booked Oct. 6 charged with leaving the scene of an accident (death or injury), DUI-alcohol with accident, basic speed, reckless driving, evading/eluding, failure to stop on signal of police officer, no proof of insurance and Pahrump Justice Court warrant for failure to appear. Bail was set at $7,727 for charges and at $1,126 for warrant. Scott Grudd, 50, was booked Oct. 6 charged with second domestic battery and battery with a deadly weapon. Bail was set at $8,000. Jeffrey Ritchey, 40, was booked Oct. 7 charged with battery with substantial bodily harm. Bail was set at $50,000. Gabriel Sanchez-Medina, 34, was booked Oct. 7 charged with battery with a deadly weapon. Bail was set at $5,000. Teresa Gardunio, 44, was booked Oct. 7 charged with grand larceny and obtaining money under false pretenses. Bail was set at $7,500. Robert Alea, 35, was booked Oct. 10 charged with possession of meth, DUI-alcohol and open container. Bail was set at $5,904. At Beatty: Paul Swisher was booked Oct. 6 charged with tampering with a motor vehicle, attempted grand larceny-auto, possession of meth, possession of burglary tools and assault with a deadly weapon-gun. Bail was set at $22,000. |
