The Pahrump Valley Times will host a candidates night at the convention center in Tonopah Friday, Oct. 13.
The session will run from 7 p.m. to roughly 9 p.m. All candidates for county elective positions, whether opposed or running unopposed, are welcome to attend. Statewide candidates are welcome to set up their own card tables with brochures to meet attendees.
The format will allow each candidate to speak for a few minutes, outlining their positions on the relevant issues. After each candidate has spoken, questions will be taken from the floor. They must be written out ahead of time and turned into the moderator, who has yet to be named.
