Pahrump Valley 34, Boulder City 14, in a Southern Nevada Class 3-A League football game Thursday, at PVHS.

The scoring:

First Quarter

PV -- Rocky Spencer 6 run (kick failed), 6-0, 10:53. KEY PLAY -- Boulder City fumbled the opening kickoff, with the Trojans recovering at the Eagles 27. Spencer gained all 27 yards on three rushes.

Second Quarter

PV -- Zack Weldon 12 pass from Travis Ott (run failed), 12-0, 0:52. KEY PLAY -- The Eagles missed converting a fourth down at their own 40. The Trojans scored in six plays.

Third Quarter

PV -- Steve Kelley 2 run (Kody Daffer kick), 19-0, 9:38. KEY PLAY -- The Trojans drove 65 yards in six plays, including a 42-yard run by Kelley.

BCHS -- Brandon Murphy 15 run (kick good), 19-7, 5:49. KEY PLAY -- The Eagles marched 83 yards on six plays following an interception.

PV -- Kelley 5 run (Daffer kick), 26-7, 4:21. KEY PLAY -- Kelley ran 52 yards to the Eagles 13 in the 65-yard, four-play drive.

Fourth Quarter

BCHS -- Michael Mizuraka 30 pass from Daniel Brown (kick good), 26-14, 7:00. KEY PLAY -- The Eagles drove 79 yards in seven plays, with the march aided by a pass interference penalty.

PV -- Ott 38 run (Kelley run), 34-14, 4:52. KEY PLAY -- On fourth-and-eight at the BC 38, Ott faked the punt and ran for the touchdown. Earlier, a roughing-the-kicker penalty allowed the Trojans to retain possession. The total yardage was 55 yards on eight plays.
