Pahrump will celebrate and remember service veterans with various events around town throughout Nov. 11, Veterans Day.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Nov. 11, at VFW Post No. 10054 on Homestead Road.

The Veterans Day parade, sponsored by Pahrump area veterans organizations, will start at 1 p.m. near Pahrump Valley High School on Calvada Boulevard.

The parade route will end at Honeysuckle Park, where an arts and crafts picnic will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Come look at the arts and crafts for sale. Hot dogs, hamburgers, beer and refreshments will be available.
