HORACE LANGFORD JR. / PVT
What looked like a great break downfield Saturday night ended up with a "Guns" drive falling short of the goal -- an all too common occurrence as the "Hoses" won the annual flag football charity match 30-0. The Nye County Sheriff's Office "Guns" were not altogether happy, especially with a Pahrump Fire-Rescue Service "Hoses" team that was apparently bolstered by some ringers from Pahrump Valley High School. From grabbing the flags, the action nearly became out-and-out tackle football before the final play was made.
