RENO -- Two positive reports of West Nile virus have been filed from Nye County in the week ending July 21, according to the Nevada Department of Agriculture.

The department's Animal Disease and Food Safety Laboratory said the positive reports stemmed from two mosquito pools in areas not otherwise identified.

No reports of St. Louis encephalitis or western equine encephalitis were reported in the county.
