Eighteen employees found themselves literally out in the heat Monday morning when Lil' Rascals day care locked its doors. Several, with their children, stood outside the front door after a Quest Locksmith employee changed the lock to ensure no entry.
Sheriff hopeful wants clean sweep at DeMeo's office
Mel Jackson, who is running for sheriff of Nye County, told Nye County Democrats at a meeting Monday night at the Bob Ruud Community Center, that the current leadership of the sheriff's office is "dysfunctional."
