Vets' names to be moved

The following names of armed services veterans are those that were placed on a small memorial at the Chief Tecopa Cemetery.

The memorial will be removed and placed on the new memorial when it is ready.

VFW July calendar

The July calendar of events for the VFW Post 10054 on Homestead Road is as follows: domestic beer $1.25, bottle beer $1.50, draft $1.25 every Thursday; breakfast served from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. every Sunday, $4 donation; and full menu lunches served by Dennis from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Dinners:

Today -- Spaghetti with the Boy Scouts.

July 28 -- Garlic cheese chicken, 5-7 p.m.

All dinners are $6 and served from 4-7 p.m., unless otherwise noted.

Miss Pahrump pageant

Tickets are now on sale for the Miss Pahrump 30th Anniversary Pageant being held at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 5 at the Saddle West.
