Bowling club tourney Saturday

The Pahrump Valley Tournament Bowling Club will host a certified singles tournament, with handicap and by divisions, Saturday in the Nugget.

Club members only are eligible.

Squad times are 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Entry forms are available at the Nugget, Terry Hand Realty, and on the Web site, www.pahrumpbowlers.com.

Workshop slated at Nugget Aug. 19

The Nugget and the Southern Nevada United States Bowling Congress has scheduled a workshop for league officers Aug. 19 in the Nugget.

The workshop will begin at 4 p.m. in banquet room 3. Registration will start at 3 p.m. Dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m. in the banquet room.
