NHP 'Motor Squad' finds plenty to do in Pahrump
The Nevada Highway Patrol's new "Motor Squad" rolled into Pahrump Monday morning and found a wealth of activity among motorists who were speeding, blowing past stop signs and otherwise violating the rules of the road.

In the first game of the Southern Nevada District 4 Junior Division Little League baseball playoffs, Pahrump outhit Mountain Ridge 3-1 -- but lost 2-1 when the Las Vegans scored two runs on a wild throw in the third inning Friday night.
