Pike wins modified feature

Jason Pike had three chasers in his exhaust, as he won the 25-lap IMCA modified feature Saturday at the Pahrump Valley Speedway.

Finishing on the lead lap were Leland Hibdon, Josh Stringer and Tony Kinkade Jr. Four laps back in fifth was Levi Kiefer. Joe Rogers Jr. and Fred White also started the main, but finished well off the pace.

In the Dwarf cars' 20-lap feature, the first six cars raced to the checkered flag, taken by Robert Ewing. Jeff Connors, Mark Ramey, Bobby Meek, Justin Kimsey and Renee Cottrell were 2-3-4-5-6, respectively. Bruno Pella was a lap down, with Scott Kelly and Steven Winters following.

Frank Bridwell won the super stock feature in a 20-lap duel with Rick VanBuytene on the quarter-mile dirt oval.

Steve Slusher was third, with Anthony DeBiase fourth. John Pietrorazio, Milo Petaros, Dale Daffern and Stacy Stinson completed the starting grid.

The Bombers division debuted with a 20-lap feature won by Wade Pearsons. Finishing on the lead lap were Anthony Findley, Chris Gray, Vinni Raucci and Fred Harding. Clinton Brownell, J.J. Nunn and Phil Goodwin also started.

Five of six drivers were on the lead lap when the checkered flag fell first for Bob Clark in the Coupes of Nevada main. Brett Iverson, Sam Stringer, Mike Gray and Jim Ralleo completed the 20 laps, with Adam Thomas sixth with 19 laps.

In an 18-car mini-stock feature, Keith Young emerged the winner, completing the 20 laps ahead of seven rivals -- Tony Martin, Bubba Ray, Frankie England, Bill Delahunte, Terri Little, Chad Broadhead and Richard Weseman.

Alex Buckwalter was a lap down, with Rick VanBuytene and Jamie Hall two back. Also starting were Andrew Oskilanec, Rick Gast, Tom Buckwalter, Ron Romaine, Eric Slusher, Mike Lysinger and Robert Pearsons.

Cory Little won the 15-lap pro-4 feature, finishing ahead of Rob Connell, Marty Mclaugh, and Kevin Williams. Terry Crawford was fifth.

Austin Kiefer outraced Cole Hammack to win a 10-lap outlaw karts showdown.
