Deputies responding to a report of a car abandoned at the corner of Gamebird Road and Dandelion Street found the vehicle and discovered that it had been reported stolen in California. They also found a crematory box of human remains that had been tossed from the car into an adjacent field. The ashes were in a plastic bag visible to the lower right of the car. One deputy suggested the thieves might have decided to abandon the car upon discovering the ashes.
