Hollywood Video in the Pahrump Valley Junction Plaza on Highway 160 -- supposed to re-open later this week after an auto accident on Aug. 8 -- will likely not be ready, according to a spokesperson for the store chain.

The store in the Albertson's shopping center was rammed by a vehicle driven by a woman allegedly intoxicated by drugs. The accident resulted in major structural and electrical damage at the retail store's entrance.

A sign there, posted by the Nye County Building and Safety Department, in conjunction with Pahrump Fire-Rescue Service, cautions the public: "This structure has been inspected and (was) found to be damaged as described below:

"Structural and electrical at Registrar (checkout) area has major damage. Falling (debris) hazard from lighting and soffit (and) fire hazard from damaged wiring/broken glass at front of building."

The suspect, Sandra Delicino, 29, was arrested by a deputy of the Nye County Sheriff's Office. Delicino, who was reportedly highly intoxicated when the accident occurred, was unable to maintain her balance when she exited her vehicle, according to the arresting deputy.

A search of her vehicle revealed a prescription bottle of Hydrocodeine, which Delicino admitted to having taken earlier. She also had on her person prescription pills known by the brand name "Soma."

Delicino was arrested for DUI and for possession of a controlled substance. Her bail was set at $5,792.
