Blackburns win

Kasey and Larry Blackburn had 1,403 to win Class A in a Pahrump Valley 500 Club bowling tournament Saturday at the Nugget.

In Class B, Dee Runau and John Boston had 1,480, and in Class C, Mary Ann Suver and Jan Costa had 1,444.

Complete results are available on the Web site, www.pahrumpbowlers.com; at Terry Hand Realty and the Nugget. The next tournament will be Sept. 9 and will be a singles 10-pin certified event. Entry forms are available on the Web site.

Notices

The first Multiple Sclerosis 'Strike Out MS' bowling fund raiser will be Aug. 27, with squads at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. in the Nugget Bowling Center.

The entry fee is $15 per bowler. There will be door prizes and raffle tickets. Entry forms are available at the Nugget. Checks are to be made payable to the PV MS Connection.

The Tuesday Night Men's Handicap League is organizing. For information, contact Frank Snow at 727-8321 or Bill Burgess at 751-5996.

An organizational meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Aug. 29 in meeting room 3 at the convention center in the Nugget.

The Pahrump Valley Tournament Bowling Club's next tournament is Aug. 26, with squad times 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. Entry forms are available at the Nugget.
