A bomb threat at Terrible's Town Casino Monday evening has law enforcement officials searching for a suspect identified as Scott A. Evans, 51.

Evans allegedly not only telephoned in the threat but identified himself by name while doing so.

Deputy Joseph Casey was dispatched to Terrible's just before 9:30 p.m. and, after determining that a bomb threat had occurred, worked with casino officials to evacuate the business.

"I then conducted an extensive search of the premises with my K-9 partner, 'Bowie,'" Casey reported.

Bowie, who has been trained to recognized eight different explosive odors, came up with nothing during the search, and Casey decided there were no explosives.

Patrons were allowed back inside the casino in about an hour, Capt. Bull Becht said Tuesday.

Evans, according to Becht, has more than one local address.
