The Pahrump Valley Times will be up late Tuesday evening, acquiring the latest primary vote totals. As a result, it is likely that some deliveries of the Wednesday edition will be late.

"We trust our readers will understand any delays," said Editor Mark Smith.

The polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Even as early voting terminated last week, impressive vote totals were reported.

The Nye County Clerk's Office reported 3,003 people cast early votes for the Tuesday primary election as of the close of voting Wednesday.

Pahrump early voting ended Wednesday; early voting in Tonopah ends today.

That represents a turnout of 14.5 percent of the registered voters in Nye County. Nye County has 20,716 registered voters including 9,072 registered Republicans, 7,723 registered Democrats, 2,875 non-partisans, 812 members of the Independent American Party, 186 Libertarians, 19 members of the Green party and 16 Natural Law Party members.

Tuesday, voters in precincts 9, 21, 25, 26 and 27 will vote at J.G. Johnson Elementary School, 900 E. Jack Rabbit St. in Pahrump.

Voters in precincts 10, 11, 19, 23, 28, 29 and 32 will vote at the Bob Ruud Community Center, 150 N. Highway 160 in Pahrump.

Voters in precincts 20, 22, 24, 30 and 31 will vote at Manse Elementary School, 1020 E. Wilson Road in Pahrump.

Voters in precincts 14, 15, 16 and 17 will vote at the Tonopah Convention Center.

Voters in precincts 12 and 35 will vote at the Don L. Simpson Community Center in Round Mountain.

Precinct six voters will cast their ballots at the Amargosa Complex in Amargosa Valley.

Precinct One voters will vote at the Beatty Community Building in Beatty.
