The first Multiple Sclerosis "Strike Out MS" bowling fund raiser will be Aug. 27, at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. in the Nugget Bowling Center.

The entry fee is $15 per bowler. There will be door prizes and raffle tickets ($ each or six for $5).

Entry forms are available at the center. Checks can be made payable to PV MS Connection.

The Tuesday Night Men's Handicap League is organizing.

There will be a 900 cap on the league, which will bowl at 6:15 p.m. Tuesdays during the fall-winter-spring season.

An organizational meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Aug. 29 in meeting room No. 3 at the Convention center.

Any bowlers interested in this league should contact Frank M. Snow at 727-8321 or Bill Burgess at 751-5996.

The Pahrump Valley 500 Club will hold a 10-pin certified, snake bite and 9-pin no-tap tournament Saturday, with squad times at 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Entry forms are available on the Web site,www.pahrumpbowlers.com, Terry Hand Realty or the bowling center.

The 500 club's annual meeting is Oct. 7; more details will follow.

The Pahrump Valley Tournament Bowling Club is sponsoring a fun, by division tournament for members only Aug. 26, with squad times at 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Entry fee is $15 per person. Entry forms are available at the Nugget.

The tournament sponsor is Dr. George D. Leaks. Joe Bancroft and Masai Requate are co-directors.
