A dozen young women from Pahrump will find out tomorrow Saturday which will represent the town as Miss Pahrump 2006.
The grand finale of weeks of practices, interviews, talent displays and essay writing will begin at the Saddle West at 6 p.m.
The annual event is designed to help the contestants understand that each is part of a greater whole by looking outside herself and to others, by stressing community involvement and service.
The final winner will take the place of Amber Shields as this year's crown-wearer.
