TONOPAH -- Rick Marshall, an assistant sheriff who was named interim assistant county manager in March, will now be wearing two new hats.

Beatty High School's football team will start workouts Aug. 10, under the direction of first-year coach Gus Sullivan. The Hornets compete in the Nevada Class A Central Division.

DUSZYNSKI DIRECTS SPIKERS: Sullivan to coach football at Beatty
Gus Sullivan, who has taken over for the veteran Bruce Moen as football coach at Beatty High School, will greet the 2006 Hornets Aug. 10. Just nine days later, the Hornets travel for a scrimmage at Tonopah, where the Muckers will be going after their third consecutive Nevada Class A Central Division championship.
