Snowden scores speedway victory

Dan Snowden beat five rivals on the last of 20 laps to win the super stocks feature at the Pahrump Valley Speedway Saturday night.

John Pietrorazio, Dale Daffern, Rick VanBuytene, Milo Petaros and Cliff Corn each completed 20 laps. Also competing were Jim Elder and Bryan Wulfenstein.

In the IMCA modified 25-lap feature, Ronnie Williams was first, finishing ahead of Leland Hibdon, Jason Pike, Todd Nunnally, Ray Elam, and Levi Kiefer.

Ryan Cottrell completed 20 laps and finished seventh. Jim Bonetti and Kelly Buesig also started.

The Dwarf cars made their first appearance of the season and all seven starters completed 20 laps on the quarter-mile dirt oval.

Jeff Connors won, followed by Mark Ramey, Bobby Meek, Justin Kimsey, Renee Cottrell, Mark Dillie and Bruno Pella.

Sam Stringer won the Coupes of Nevada feature, a 20-lap race that had Brett Iverson finish second, followed by Steve Stringer and Bob Clark. Mike Gray finished a lap back.

Eighteen cars started the mini-stock main, with the first 11 completing the 20-lap race. Frankie England was the winner, with Rick Gast second.

In the top five were Bill Delahunte, Tom Buckwater and Bubba Ray.

The top 10 included Tony Mardtin, Rick VanBuytene, Keith Young, Andrew Oskilanec and John Talsman.

Nick Oskilanec, Richard Weseman, Robert Pearsons, John Burch Jr., Dustin Oliver, Sean Reed. Cody Wilde and Mike Lysinger also started.

Marty McLaugh won the pro-4 main, which had only two other starters <!-- 2013(unknown) --> Court Connell and Rod Connell.

Tanner Black won the outlaw karts race, which had Donavan Williams, Shane Nunnally, Taylor Bonetti and Austin Black as starters.
