Boosters plan yucca strategy

Fifty VIPs, political allies in their support for the Yucca Mountain Repository, rallied Tuesday at a technical workshop held at Pahrump's Community College of Southern Nevada.

Dominique Maloy of Pahrump Valley, in lane 4, won the 100-meter dash Saturday to complete a four-event sweep in the 2006 Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association State Class 3-A Track and Field Championships, contested at Reno High School.
'07 state track meet could be 'girls night out'

The 2007 All-Class State Track and Field Championships will be contested somewhere in southern Nevada. Wherever it is, be sure to make the trip.
