Kimberlie Bowdre

Services for Kimberlie Sue Bowdre, 39, who passed away April 17 in Pahrump, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Martin's Episcopal Church, 631 W. Irene.

She was born Nov. 21, 1966 in Seattle, Wash. She was a 5-year resident of Pahrump, coming from Tacoma, Wash.

She was a teacher's aide, employed by Nye County schools, and held an AA in business administration.

Her husband Timothy of Pahrump; sons Daniel, Joshua and Michael, all of Pahrump; mother Pricilla (Don) Hutchins of Apache Junction, Ariz.; father Bob Robbins of Centralia, Wash.; brothers Bill and Rick; and sisters Cindy and Sandy survive her.

Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Even Start Program, Nye County School District.

Amanda Brown

Services for Amanda Faye (Welton) Brown, 31, who passed away from malignant melanoma April 15 at her home in Pahrump, will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Central Christian Church in Henderson. Interment will be in Mill City, Ore.

She was born Oct. 27 in Hayward, Calif. When she was 5 years old, she and her family moved to Penn Valley, Calif., where she eventually attended Pleasant Valley High School. She then came to Las Vegas in 1989, where she attended Bonanza High School.

After graduation, she worked as an administrative assistant at UNLV for almost five years. On May 6, 2000, she married the love of her life, Michael Brown. They purchased a home in Pahrump and moved here from Las Vegas in 2004.

She had an unwavering faith in God. She was embraced by her adoring husband Michael and surrounded by her loving family and closest friends when she passed away.

Her husband Michael Wayne Brown, saxophone player for Ivan Kane's Fourty Deuce; father Dwight (Vicki) Welton of Pahrump; mother Connie (Al) Spindel of Mill City; sister Kristi Welton of Las Vegas; grandparents Boyd and Lois Welton and George Williams, all of Hayward; her three kitties, "The Boys," TigTig, Sammy and Mosie; and many loving family members and friends survive her.

Her grandmother Phyllis Gibson of Las Vegas preceded her in death in January 2000.

Barbara Cleveland

Services for Barbara Cleveland, 49, of Pahrump, who died April 15 in Pahrump, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Pahrump Winery.

She was born July 22, 1956 in Queens, N.Y. She moved to Nevada in 1982 and to Pahrump in the early 1990s, with her husband David, who with his wife owned Valley Homes in Pahrump.

Barbara was trained in classical ballet and acting, she loved camping, fishing, gardening, and photography, NASCAR and worked for many organizations engaged in the battle against pancreatic and other cancers.

She is survived by her husband, David, of Pahrump; father Jerry Padell of Pahrump; Sister Linda of Connecticut; a niece and nephew, Amanda and Glenn Greenberg; and many loving friends. (04/15/06)
