The Pahrump Valley 500 Club will hold a no-tap doubles event Saturday at the Nugget. Squad times are 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. For entry forms, go to the Web site www.pahrumpbowlers.com, Terry Hand Realty, or at the Nugget. Tourney club sets Nov. 19 event The Pahrump Valley Tournament Bowling Club will hold a Scotch doubles, with handicap and by division, Nov. 19 at the Nugget. Pahrump Tractor and B&C Printing are the sponsors for the tournament, which is open only to club members. Squad times are 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. Entry fee is $28 per team, $14 per bowler. Special Olympics bowling concludes Oldies but Goodies won the gold medal in the Pahrump Special Olympics. Receiving gold were Charles Baser, Tony Gourley, Billy Klem and Mark Rittersdorf. Silver medals went to the Tweety Birds, with Rebecca Davenport, Julie Williams and Christina Sigurdson. Bronze winners were The Choker and High Rollers, including John Dann, Perry Fugit, Hugo Perez, Kristyn Thurmond, Angel Fausone, Lori Huff and Rusty Shapland. Fourth-place ribbons went to Little Wizards and The Bratz, including Christina Charek, Raymond Weetman, Lucy Plemon, Tammy Alexander, Larry Yates, Chip Danielson and Cinthia Nelson. Participation ribbons were awarded to Brandy Albertson and Lori Kaiser. High scores on Nevada Day were recorded by Chip Danielson, Larry Yates and Perry Fugit.
