Sheriff¹s Report

The following information was provided by the Nye County Sheriff's Office. All crimes are alleged and all defendants are presumed innocent:

At Pahrump:

• John Rachel was booked May 18 for sex offender failure to register. His bail was set at $5,000.

• Charles Danielson was booked May 18 for attempted burglary. His bail was set at $5,000.

• Brian Byard was booked May 20 for possession of stolen firearm. His bail was set at $5,000.

• Alfred Taylor was booked May 21 on a warrant from Superior Court, San Luis Obispo, Calif., charged with possession of a controlled substance for sale and possession of assault weapon. His bail was set at $10,000.

• Charles Spurrier was booked May 21 for possession of a stolen vehicle. His bail was set at $5,000.

• Jesse Taylor was booked May 21 on two local warrants of theft and NHP failure to appear. Bail was set at $5,167.

• Kelly Montgomery was booked May 21 for burglary and battery. Bail was set at $5,632.

• Luis Ochoa-Farias was booked May 21 for second DUI-alcohol. Bail was set at $1,198. Also charged with NHP warrant DUI alcohol. Bail set at $5,000. Bail to be determined on Nye County warrant for failure to appear.

• Jesus Escobedo was booked May 22 for second DUI and hit and run property damage. His bail was set at $3,528.

• Eric Childs was booked May 22 for burglary and petit larceny. His bail was set at $5,500.

• Cesar Lopez was booked May 23 for transfer to Nevada Department of Corrections. No bail.

• Thomas Morris was booked May 23 for bomb threat. His bail was set at $5,000.

• Leshia Jicka was booked May 24 for possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription and use of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $10,000.

At Tonopah:

• Jesus Tovar was booked May 21 for burglary and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bail was set at $6,132.

• Elisabeth Zambrano was booked May 21 for burglary and possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bail was set at $6,132.

At Beatty:

• Allen Jenerou was booked May 18 for attempted burglary, stalking. His bail was set at $5,632.

• William Marker was booked May 20 for maintain a place to sell, sale of controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance-meth and marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bail was set at $25,632.

• Nancy Belinda was booked May 20 for maintain a place to sell, sale of controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance-meth and marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bail was set at $25,632.

• James Williams was booked May 20 for home invasion. His bail was set at $10,000.

Misdemeanor arrests made during the week included nine for warrants, six for DUI, three for cashing checks with insufficient funds, two for domestic violence/battery, two for failure to provide driver's license, two that were related to traffic offenses, one for possession of one ounce or less of marijuana, one for violation of parole or probation, and one for trespassing.
