Pahrump Valley Fire-Rescue crews tend to patients in a car after a two-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon in the area of Vicki Ann Road and Jeane Avenue. One car involved hit a nearby utility pole, leaving the pole in a precarious position. Extrication of the driver was required due to the fact the car was wedged against the pole. The driver was flown to a Las Vegas hospital and Valley Electric showed up on scene to repair the pole. The driver's injuries were not believed to be life threatening, but she was in obvious pain.
