Terrible's Town 250 schedule

The Terrible's Town 250 Off-Road Race, sanctioned by Best in the Desert, will start at Johnnie Saturday morning and finish later that day at the casino at Highways 372 and 160.

Today, there will be a time trial for cars and trucks, from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. on the course.

Some drivers and crews will be at Rosemary Clarke Middle School today from 9:30 a.,m. to 10:30 a.m. to sign autographs and pass out souvenirs.

On Saturday, the cars, trucks, motorcycles and quads will race from Johnnie to north of Beatty and return to the finish line, to be located behind the casino.

The schedule today includes drivers and riders registration from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., as well as cars, trucks, motorcycles and quad contingency and technical inspections from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

A barbecue dinner will be served from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Terrible's Lakeside Casino and Resort. The band Livebait will perform from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Lakeside.

A mandatory drivers meeting will start at 7 p.m. today at the amphitheater at Lakeside.

Motorcycles and quads will stage at 5:30 a.m., with the start at 5:45 a.m.

A contintental breakfast will be served, starting at 6:30 a.m. at the Ford Mesa in the casino parking lot.

Cars and trucks will stage at 8:30 a.m.; at 9 a.m., the field will be escorted by law enforcement vehicles to the starting line at Johnnie. The first vehicle will start at 9:30 a.m.

Saturday night, Tequila Sunrise, an Eagles salute band, will entertain fans from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Lakeside.

Award ceremonies will begin at 9 a.m. Sunday at Lakeside, following a continental breakfast from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.
