County makes counter-attack
The Nye County commissioners, trying to head off Sunrise Cityhood proponents at the legislative pass, took measures Monday to fight the effort and to be prepared if the effort should in fact come to pass.

The top four teams in both the boys and girls divisions will advance to the Nevada Southern Class 3-A Regional Basketball playoffs, to be contested Feb. 17 and 19 at Del Sol High School in Las Vegas.
