Beckett could seek death penalty
Citing the criminal history of murder defendant Ronald Dean Garren, District Attorney Bob Beckett on Monday said his office is contemplating seeking the death penalty against Garren, who on Oct. 5 allegedly shot to death Pahrump resident George Weber.
