Man charged in B.J. Port's death

Nye County District Attorney Bob Beckett has filed a criminal complaint against Pahrump resident Danny Elton Hall, more than two years after a truck Hall was driving struck and killed Brandon "B.J." Port as the 20-year-old and three other young people walked down Mesquite Avenue the night of Oct. 12, 2001.

Winning had to happen again sooner or later for the Pahrump Valley boys basketball team. And when the Trojans did prevail, what a show they put on for a small, but vocal crowd in the Pahrump Valley High School gym Tuesday night.
