Special golf events ahead for juniors
The third Pahrump Valley Junior Golf Association fall-winter tournament will be played Nov. 22 with the season finale Dec. 20.
Both will be special events and will start at 11 a.m., and all competition will be at Desert Greens on Wilson Road.
Junior golf spokesperson Elaine Goins said a Turkey Shoot, offering some special awards, will be played Nov. 22, and in the December tournament, more fun and games will be in store for the junior golfers.
The PVJGA is for players 7 to 18 years old. For information on the organization, call 727-6670.
