ALL-STATE GOLFERS

Earning Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association Class 3-A all-state golf first team honors were, from left, Darla Hopkins, Pahrump Valley; Megan Duferrena, Winnemucca Lowry; Jenna Eason, Pahrump Valley; Cathleen Ward, Boulder City, and MacKenzie Swecker, Winnemucca Lowry. Swecker led Lowry to the state title as she set a medalist record of 80-75-155 in the tournament played last week in Mesquite. Eason was third with 175 and Hopkins was fifth with 177.
