The Shadow Mountain Quilters have made and donated an "Opportunity Quilt" that is being raffled, with proceeds benefiting the Pahrump Valley Volunteer Firefighters Assn.
Raffle tickets are available at the Pahrump Valley Chamber of Commerce, the main fire station and various businesses in the community.
The drawing for the quilt will be held at 3 p.m. Sept. 19 during the Harvest Festival.
