The local volunteer ambulance service wants you. The service is seeking volunteers who are dedicated and willing to undergo training to prepare them for all sorts of emergency situations -- from childbirth to car accidents.
Without volunteer services, nearly three-fourths of the U.S. would be without adequate ambulance service.
