Private services were held for Robert Eugene Williams, 71, who died April 23 in Las Vegas. Burial was in the Chief Tecopa Cemetery.
A nine-year resident who came to Pahrump from Modesto, Calif., he was born May 27, 1927 in McGuew, Neb. He was an ironworker and a member of the Moose Lodge. He enjoyed fishing and recycling.
He is survived by his mother, Esther of Santa Cruz, Calif.; his wife, Ada of Pahrump; a son, Stanley of Murphys, Calif.; two daughters, Sandra Geygenfurtnel of New York and Julie Williams-Moyo of Las Vegas; a brother, Larry of California; two sisters, Dorothy Artelan of Modesto and Marlene Yonkman of Santa Clara, Calif.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Marvin.
